THIS RIGHT HERE IS A BOOK YOU SHOULD GET

It’s the most comprehensive look into the history of the corset and its uses, societal significance, health effects and fetishization over the last three centuries. I bought my copy from Venice in 2006 when I was still in fashion college and I’ve held on to it dearly. Highly recommended for the bookshelf of any character artist and any world builder as it goes a lot into the cultural aspects of corsetry.

Will be getting this ASAP!
